-Obama gets the presidential nod from the Dems at their party, names JoJo Biden as his Veep - looks like a good ticket even if Biden's son and brother can't seem to stay out of the news with their HF's and lawsuits
-some guys are really knocking the cover off the ball this year - and others getting absolutely clobbered
-US Open going on in New York
-big conference going on in Bermuda in late October
-Hurrican Gustav looks to be gaining strength and heading towards the gulf coast. Possible oil ramifications and more bad news if it makes landfall
-the four horsemen: GOOG, BIDU, AAPL, & RIMM - volatile, volume and very profitable
-time to put away the whites as another summer unofficially comes to an end
-schedule really opens up on Tuesday - time to roll it out big time
