Fed cuts 25 bps

the federal reserve just cut its discount rate by 25 basis points. Of course, the markets had already built in the 1/4 point cut and were hoping for the 1/2 point cut. It didn't happen and the markets sold off hard immediately after the announcement. Great example of buy the rumor, sell the news.
